Fusion challenge card - delicious with Crushed Curry

I saw the Fusion challenge yesterday and was inspired to make this card for it - I really love how it came out! It's a birthday card but it would work just as well for a wedding.

This is a great colour combo - I think I'll have to make a fleet of cards with these colours! Anyone care to join me? :)

Everything is SU on this card, to wit:

Cardstock - Basic Grey, Crushed Curry and Very Vanilla
Ink - Basic Grey and Crushed Curry
Stamp sets - Fresh Vintage and  Banner Greetings
Punches - Boho Blossoms and Decorative Label

A "just because" card

Here's a card I made today for my crafting buddy (who lives in another country, sadly) wishing her lots of creative fun with the goodies I'm sending her.

I love the colour combo, and the grey ribbon which I think I got wrapped around some clothing I bought. Repurpose, recycle and reuse! :)

Baby card

A friend is due to have her baby boy any time soon, so I have the card ready and waiting for when he arrives :)

The stamps, orange cardstock and ribbon are all SU. The ink is SU and Tim Holtz. The DP is Echo Park "Bees Knees".

Cute card alert!

I love this card - I came up with the idea last night, and then today after work came home and made it. It's simple yet effective, I think!

The stamps are from Stampendous and the paper is "Bees Knees" from Echo Park.

A thank you card

I went to Finland for a week last month and last night made some "thank you" cards to send to the friends who hosted me there. I had a lot of fun making them (3 of the same design) even though they were very simple - it was wonderful to just sit down and play with my rubber stamps and ink!

Here is a pic of the card; it was impossible to get a good photo of it indoors, so I had to balance it on my hand outside on the patio (which is why the angle is a bit odd).

Stamps are SU (from the Affection Collection and Trendy Trees sets), as is the pink ink and cardstock (Strawberry Slush).

First Christmas cards of the year!

Did a bit of playing around with Christmas papers last week and came up with these basic cards (4x4). The paper is Docraft's Christmas Back to Basics Modern and the button is from the coordinating pack. I used some vellum too to give a bit of depth. The ink is SU Real Red and River Rock, and the stamps are Hero Arts and SU.

Let me know what you think!

Hodgepodge card

This is a card I made for my cousin's birthday using some Dear Lizzy stickers and rotary stamp, as well as various other bits and pieces I had in my stash. It's not my usual style but I really like it, and want to try and challenge myself to make more of this kind of "collage"-type card. I need practice layering up lots of embellishments!

My fave bit is the old-fashioned camera which I cut out from some cool designer paper :)
